Health & Wellness
We take the health & wellness of our community seriously—we cannot dance together if we do not take care of our bodies and each other! We ask that all of our families, staff, and community members adhere to our health & wellness policies to keep our community healthy and safe.
If Your Dancer is Sick
Our Health & Wellness policy asks that any dancer (or teacher/staff member) who is sick and running a fever must stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours (without the use of fever reducers) and their symptoms are improving, following CDC Guidelines for respiratory viruses. If you are unsure, we ask that you keep your dancer home to prevent potential spread of illness.
Our staff will always err on the side of caution when it comes to dancer wellness and safety. If your dancer presents as unwell, we will call caregivers for pickup and send your dancer home.
If Your Dancer is Injured
Dancers who are injured but who are feeling well enough to come to class to observe are welcome to attend class and observe class activities. Observing dancers may be given an observation form to fill out to guide their class observation.
Make Up Policy
Dancers who are absent (due to illness, injury, or other reasons) are welcome to schedule a make up class for each class that they miss. Make up classes must be completed during the semester of the absence (i.e. Fall Semester absences must be made up during Fall Semester), and cannot be scheduled during certain weeks of the year. Make Up classes can also be scheduled ahead of time for anticipated absences.
Injury/Illness Credit
All That Dance may choose to provide an Injury/Illness Credit on a case-by-case basis if a dancer will be absent due to long-term illness/injury. To inquire about this option for your dancer, please email director@all-that-dance.com.
